■ Jaleco developed the game privately 35 years
ago but the phantom title was discontinued for
the Mega Drive, "P-47 II FREEDOM STAR."
■ A fierce and brilliant World War-themed
military shooting game with stages set in the
European front and Pacific theater of World War
II. Operate the "P-47 Thunderbolt" of the US
Army Air Force, and fight against the land and
air forces to destroy the "FUGAKU" prototype
bomber built by the Japanese army. The stages
show you the beautiful scenery of Europe, the
high altitude clouds, and the vast sea regions
that make use of the hard performances, and the
boss battle with huge weapons such as the
long-awaited battleship "YAMATO" and the
airborne mothership "AKAGI."
■ Not just a transfer, nobody has seen the P-47
player can strengthen their shots with power-up
items. The machine is a life-like model, and it
is difficult to play because it is not possible
to be done with a single stroke. You can also
use a powerful hyperbomb to sweep your enemies
by burning your life. Based on the 1988 arcade
version P-47, this product features a new game

illustrations are by Katou, also known for the
plastic model kit box art.
