Takara Tomy has opened up preorders for two separate Animal Crossing starter kits which feature characters, a house, and a couple of pieces of furniture. The starter kits are meant to kick off an entire collection of Animal Crossing figures and furniture which we'll start accepting reservations for on Tuesday. The inaugural starter kits are as follows:

» Pink-roofed house with a 'Girl' figure, Lisa, and Rover along with a bed, a vanity, and stamps
» Yellow-roofed house with a 'Boy' figure, Mr. Resetti, and KK Slider along with a bed, a turntable, and stamps

   We'll open reservations for another nine figures and bundled furniture pieces in the new Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori Character Stamp Collection Starter kit Ouchi and Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori Character Stamp Collection Starter kit Okashi no Ouchi series tomorrow because the distributor left out some pricing details on their offer last night.
  
   The starter kits are priced at JPY2480 per set or US$30.90 from NCS and preorders are welcome to ship in August 2013.
