 «©NCSX» The girls of Idolmaster have attracted a decent-sized fan base in Japan on the back of two Idolmaster games on the Xbox and a PSP game which was sold in three variations. Merchandising comes quickly in Japan and toy figures and trinkets bearing the likeness of the idols have been selling reasonably well. The latest product to take advantage of Idolmaster's good name is Good Smile Company's Petit Idolmaster Stage 01 Charms which are made of rubber and depict an idol in a super-deformed artistic rendering. A total of 10 charms are packaged in each factory box and preorders are welcome to ship in late November 2009.

 «©NCSX» If you're a fan who enjoys all things Dragon Ball, you might want to grab the upcoming Dragon Ball Kai Shenron Mug which features the legendary dragon all coiled up in the shape of a cup. One beady red eye may be seen on the front of the mug whilst Shenron's tail serves as the handle. Banpresto is also offering a Kairin-Sama mug but that one doesn't look all that appealing what with the cheesy whiskers and the pink ears.
   Each mug measures 12cm or 4.72" tall and holds roughly 8 oz of liquid. Preorders are welcome to ship in late Nov 2009 at US$18.90 per mug.

 «©NCSX» Hello Kitty has been the subject of a number of cross-licensing deals over the past few years and one of our favorites was when she showed love to Space Invaders in 2007. Since Hello Kitty is so versatile , she's apparently also compatible with Japanese silver screen monsters and Bandai's third series of Narikiri Hello Kitty Collection toys feature Kitty in a stubby Godzilla costume as well as a King Ghidorah incarnation with three heads. Each figure measures 3cm or in height and is attached to a little metal keychain. The set contains six different figures and NCS will gather them all together in a complete set of gashapon toys. Preorders are welcome to ship in late November 2009 at US$28.90 per set.

 «©NCSX» Square Enix (Japan) has started accepting preorders for a new series of Final Fantasy Creature toys which are expected in December 2009. The first volume features five regular monster figures and one secret figure as follows:

» Tiamat from Final Fantasy I
» Bahamut Sin from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children
» Brothers: Sacred and Minotaur from Final Fantasy VIII
» Valefor from Final Fantasy X
» Zalera from Final Fantasy XII
» Terra upon Magitek Armor from Final Fantasy VI (Secret Figure)

    In addition to the painted figures shown in the product photos, Square Enix will also release "Metallic Paint" and "Clear" versions of each creature. This means that you might get a Full Color Tiamat, a Metallic Valefor, and a Clear Zalera in your factory sealed box of 8 figures.

   Preorders for the Japanese release of Final Fantasy Creatures Kai Vol. 1 are welcome to ship in late December 2009 at JPY6800 or US$73.90 per factory sealed box. Please note that we'll also be supplying the USA version of Final Fantasy Creatures Kai Vol. 1 (UPC: 662248809298) which will ship in a full set of five standard full color figures but please note that Tiamat won't make it in the North America release of the figures.

 «©NCSX» The American version of Witchblade featured a heroine named Sara Pezzini who later gave the Witchblade gauntlet to a dancer named Danielle Baptiste. The Japanese localization of Witchblade could have been a 1:1 rendition of USA storyline but the producer Gonzo decided to go in another direction. The studio created a new heroine named Masane Amaha who becomes the wearer of the Witchblade during a cataclysmic event that levels Tokyo.
   Masane is a buxom brunette who gets tipsy even when she's not drinking which adds comedic foil to her story. Since Masane's not super serious despite her great power, she's a more congenial character than her American Witchblade counterparts. Orchid Seed's upcoming Masane Amaha Bikini figure takes advantage of the heroine's ample attributes by dressing her in a tiny two-piece bikini that's doing double duty to contain Masane's pendulous impressiveness. The figure is sculpted to 1/7 scale and measures 23cm or 9.05" in height. Preorders are welcome to ship in late Dec 2009.

 «©NCSX» Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Kinnikuman with some non-descript fixed-pose figures that measure roughly an inch tall. Bandai's Kinnikuman Fukukuban 11 toys feature various wrestlers performing an assortment of moves such as a pile driver, a straightforward smackdown, and the infamous back-breaker. The flesh-colored figure is Kinnikuman and the other colored figures represent wrestlers from the Kinnikuman universe. According to the preorder information, there's a total of 20 different pairs of wrestling toys in the collection and we're accepting preorders for the complete set of 20 toys at US$39.90. In the event that we're not able to create enough complete sets to fill preorders, we'll figure out an alternative sales bundle but we don't anticipate any problems based on the information we've received from Bandai. Preorders are welcome to ship in Nov 2009.

«©NCSX» New and factory sealed copy of AutoBahn Tokio for the Japanese 3DO which was published by Panasonic in 1995. Back then, the original Playstation had already launched and Namco's Ridge Racer was wowing the rabble something fierce. AutoBahn tried to be something more than Ridge Racer with a Championship Mode, a Time Attack Mode, night driving theatrics, and a title screen announcer who bellowed out "AUTOBAHN TOKIO" as if his life depended on proper enunciation. The execution is a little jerky, the controls are rough, and the engine sounds are wimpy but it's a measly $16.90 for a brand new 3DO game that most players have never had the opportunity to enjoy. We use the word "enjoy" loosely.

   NCS' remaining AutoBahn Tokio inventory is brand new, factory sealed, and still packed in the original manufacturer cartons.
